Pebbles and Gravels
These are the 2 most commonly used words for decorative stones. The difference being Pebbles are rounded by water or mechanically to produce a product that is smooth (ideal for pathways, dry creek beds and the like) by comparison Gravel is a crushed rock graded into differing sizes and is more angular than Pebble (ideal for driveways as it tends to pack more evenly).
